Whereas Odin is not from HSC, we did essentially rescue him from my daughter. She had him since a puppy when her boyfriend broke up and she kept Odin. Her living situation changed drastically from her ex’s family home to an apartment in the NY city where she could get to work easier. She was a good mom but she began to worry about the time Odin had to spend in his crate because of her unpredictable job schedule plus she shared the apartment with a friend who also worked at a different store.

In spite of the time she could spend with him, it played on her for a month or more and finally made the decision to call me and her dad. She asked if we could take him and care for him because she didn’t want to make him suffer in his crate for long periods of time due to her schedule . Of course we said yes because we already loved him. He has lived his best life with his sister (who is HSC) and constant companionship and love.
