Max was abandoned in the bed of a truck in the east Texas heat when he was just about a month old. He was found by the truck owner who cared for him until he was adopted by an older couple in Bandera. Max was a dedicated family member and learned several tricks and chores until the sudden death of his mom, then the death of his dad almost a year later. He has been a great companion for his dad’s care giver since his dad died, but she cannot take him. He is being adopted by a loving couple in Wimberly, TX tomorrow. He loves his cat Bootsie and misses his mom and dad terribly. He sits and stares out the window, waiting for their return. He is truly deserving of love and your vote as top dog.
