We adopted our beloved Jennaaay from MAC Tabby Cat Café (who help support Princeton's Meow rescue) two years ago, and she has become the cuddlebug light in our lives. We weren't ooking to adopt another cat at the time, we thought "our plates were full." But I had just suffered a profound loss, & sought the solace of an afternoon petting kitties would lift my broken spirit.
You're not allowed to pick up the rescue kitties (for their safety & yours at MAC Tabby) but when I extended my hands out before her, little Jennaaay walked right into them, curled into a purring ball and fell asleep. I didn't move for an hour for fear of disturbing her, and in those precious moments, I felt my tender, broken heart begin to heal. I filled out the adoption paperwork as soon as she arose from her nap, and in seven days time, Jennaaay became a beloved companion in our lil' home.
I thought originally that I was saving a kitty's life, but it is she who saved mine. We love our precious Jennaaay with all our might; our hearts are full. Thank you for considering joyous, jolly Jennaaay for Queen City Kitty this year.
