I couldnt believe the photo. At 7 lbs., Ziggy was not the usual size dog at Charlotte Humane Society. So each night, a kind employee would take him to her quieter home to sleep. He was five then, missing a lot of teeth, and scared. Who could resist?
A year plus a pound later, Ziggy is bold and joyous and does just fine without those teeth. And, he listens to David Bowie music with his owners. Ziggy responded quickly to love and patience and a safe home. We have yet another beautiful shelter dog turned important family member.
