Meet Chewy (previously Crayola), the spirited shepherd (or so we think!) mix whose journey began at the Humane Society of Charlotte. Adopted at 10 weeks old, Chewy quickly became the heart and soul of our family, with his older sister, Maple. His boundless energy and contagious enthusiasm light up every room he enters. The sweetest pup you'll ever meet, Chewy loves to spend time playing with his favorite bone, snuggling with his humans, visiting his favorite places around Charlotte, or following his older sister around.

Winning this contest would not only celebrate Chewy's charm and charisma but also highlight the power of adoption. From shelter pup to top dog, Chewy's story inspires others to choose rescue and give deserving animals like him a second chance at a loving home.
