Meet Henry!

He is the pudgiest, softest, most cuddly cat you'll ever meet. Henry was adopted from Mecklenburg Animal Control in early February of this year. He is FIV positive and is estimated to be 5 years old.

Henry was brought to animal control in mid-January as a stray with gash wounds on both ears that were infected, I was told that he was attacked and he got infected with FIV as a result of the wounds. He also had several smaller wounds on his legs and a cut on his nose. I had looked for a cat for close to a year, but the moment I saw his little pudgy face I knew it had to be him.

Since the day Henry came home in early February he has been a loving little guy. He enjoys cuddling, eating, sleeping, and watching birds out the window, in that order. He also loves boxes and attacks shoe strings at any chance he gets. He is an expert mouse hunter to boot. He takes every opportunity to cuddle and I'll often wake up with him against my chest. He likes to lick to show his affection. He'll lick my hands constantly and sometimes wakes me up by licking my face. He loves food almost as much as cuddling. He loves Friskies treats, as well as tuna and cheese. He often meows for some and will jump on the counter to steal some if the wait is too long. He loves other people as well and shows everyone some love and attention.

Henry had it rough to start life but now he is happy, healthy, cared for, and loved. With a face and personality to die for, it's only right that Henry should be crowned the Queen City Kitty!
