Meet Stimpy!
In June 2024, my husband unexpectedly passed away. My kids and I were devastated. A week later, we all went to the Humane Society of Charlotte to find a furry friend to help us deal with all the sadness and pain. We spotted a sweet, buff-colored kitten with an incredibly loud purr motor and he was polydactyl on all four paws!! We fell in love with Stimpy and took him home. (Yes, I used to watch “Ren and Stimpy” all the time back in the day.)

Stimpy turned 1 in March. He has the sweetest personality, is very loving and rarely leaves my side. He gives love unconditionally and knows when I need a cuddle. He really does use his ‘thumbs’ when he plays and gets into mischief around the house. Stimpy will wear a harness when I take him to visit my mom in her skilled nursing facility. She lights up when he comes to visit. He has been an incredible companion for us all.

While some may say that I saved Stimpy, I truly believe that Stimpy rescued me. Vote for Stimpy to be the next Queen City Kitty so he can continue to help others.
