Sammi is a three-legged rescue cat. Our daughter found Sammi when she was 8 weeks old, with an injured leg. She immediately called Zach's Rescue, a cat rescue she volunteers for. They took her to Carolina Veterinary Specialists where her front left leg was amputated because of severe damage. Sammi came to our home as a foster while she was healing from the amputation; however, within 48 hours, we realized she had adopted us. She is the sweetest, most vocal kitty. She loves going on outdoor adventures and doesn't let her disability slow her down. This summer she plans to visit local parks and trails as she explores this beautiful place where she lives. Her spunk and perseverance are an inspiration!
