Captain is our one-eyed baby we rescued from a ferrel cat colony. He took a couple weeks to come out of his crate and to be curious about humans and now after 1.5 years he is the biggest snuggle bug. His eye was infected when the rescue captured him and tried to save it but obviously was unsuccessful and had to be removed. We previously had a cat named colonel mustard so decided to keep the military theme and one-eyed captain jack sounded like a match!
