I adopted Oskar from Pits and Giggles (local NFP sanctuary for pregnant dog moms) located in Fort Mill in 2018. Sadly in March 2019, I had come into financial issues and became a single mom. I found him what I thought was a great loving home, only to find out he had gotten away from his new owners and scooped up by animal control in Gastonia. I like to think he was pulling a homeward bound. He was out in the wild for quite a few months starving. His chip brought him back to me on my birthday in Dec. 2019 at a solid 43 lbs. He hasn’t left my side since and is now a healthy 85 lbs. He is the happiest on walks, taking his time to sniff everything, loves bones and real tennis balls (not the pet store kind).
He’s talks when he’s upset and let’s you know it’s belly rub time by thumping his pitty tail. He has the best smile and I love my kiss greetings when I get home. I might be bias but he’s the best dog ever!
