Taco was adopted 5 years ago and has been my best friend since. We’ve moved to 4 different states together, been on road trips, and shared many laughs and tears (he really just watched me cry). A few days ago, I took Taco into the emergency vet because his breathing was a little funny. It was there that I got the diagnosis that Taco has heart disease and only a few months to live. We decided to move forward with treatment and try to give him the best quality of life with whatever time we get. He’s given me so much over these last 5 years, a fighting chance at having some more quality time is well worth it- no matter the cost (basically our house downpayment we’d saved so far). He is the kindest, sweetest kitty that’s ever existed. Every person that says they hate cats leaves with a changed mind after hanging with him. But, for now, we plan on soaking up every minute with him- giving him all of the sink water and treats his heart desires until it’s time. Please consider voting for little Taco Cat.
