We adopted Marcus in 2017 after meeting him at a Humane Society event. We already owned a dog, but could not resist bringing him home. We are a family of 5 Tar Heel fans and love his Carolina blue eyes! Marcus is named after Marcus Paige, a Carolina basketball alum. He quickly stole all our hearts even those that were not previously "cat people". Marcus also became fast friends with his sister, Maisy, our yellow lab. Marcus is an inside cat, but enjoys spending time on the porch listening to birds and basking in the sun. Inside, he prefers bags, boxes, and hair ties over cat toys and also loves to play fetch - we think he learned that from Maisy. Marcus has a ton of personality and makes us laugh everyday!
