Gretchen was 3 months old when she was found on the side of a busy highway. We are forever grateful to the Good Samaritan that brought her to the Stanley County Human Society because they set in motion the chain of events that led us to each other. Gretchen had HUGE paws to fill. Our previous rescue, our beloved Stella, was with us for over 15yrs. And man oh man has she filled those paws and then some! Gretchen is everything one can expect when rescuing an animal. Absolute. Sheer. Joy!! Our chosen picture captures her kind eyes, her beautiful smile and her goofy ears. Because that’s EXACTLY who Gretchen is. Kind, beautiful and goofy!
