She went through a lot before I adopted her; she was abused and it left her underweight with a large scar running the length of her back. Vet’s best guess was she had been burned by previous owners. It breaks my heart she went through that; thankfully though my girl has an amazing personality. She sits in on video sessions with my therapist, licks away my tears when I get upset…she won over my therapist and the therapist convinced me to adopt her as my emotional support pet. Having her in my life has meant everything these last 9 months. She’s so much more than just my dog; she’s my best friend, my sidekick to help me get through life.
