Tell us why your dog is Top Dog?
Mazzy, an HSCC alum, originally came into the shelter as a stray. When she first arrived she was very fearful of male presenting people, small spaces, and other dogs. She had also tested positive for heartworm, which would include a 4 month treatment on exercise restriction. This girl had a long way to go before she would be ready to go home! That's when we stepped in to be her foster. This sweet girl got to rest and heal and quickly flourished in a home. We officially adopted Mazzy in July 2024 where we began our new adventure! She loves to snuggle, go hiking, and say hi to everyone she meets. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and goofy. This brave girl has come such a long way in her journey and we are so happy to have her in our life.
