Rules

Submit your pet's photo for a $10 entry fee anytime throughout the competition.
This contest will begin at 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, September 1, 2022 and conclude at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, September 30, 2022.
Vote early and often for your pet's photo.
Photos containing pets of all kinds are welcomed, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, agricultural animals, horses, birds, etc.
Your photo submission must contain a pet(s) that you personally own.
Photos featuring people will be disqualified.
Photos may contain more than one pet.
Photos deemed offensive, obscene, or with political content will be removed from the contest.
All entries are subject to review, editing, and removal by the Humane Society of Catawba County.
To ensure that we can use your photo for publication, please make sure that you submit a digital photo only with a file size of 2 MB or higher. (Regular photos developed from film and scanned generally will not result in a high enough quality to print).
File sizes are automatically reduced when submitted to the live voting site, so at the end of the contest, the winning entries must email the original photo to alicia@catawahumane.org within 7 days of the contest's end for it to be able to be included in the calendar.
NO holiday themed photos. Month selection is given to the first-place winner. If your photo features animals dressed up for Christmas, and the first-place winner selects December they would be completely out of context on any other month.
Each $1 donation counts as one vote. The winners of this competition will be the top 12 pets with the most votes at the contest conclusion.
