How we met
Bruce was was personally rescued by myself from a group of squatters breeding his parents (also rescued and got a loving home together) for drug money. Bruce is now 4 and the happiest guy!
Rey was rescued by a group and fostered by myself and family after being noticed in a pet shop being abused and medically neglected by the shop owner. Court proceedings against the owner followed as well as multiple reconstructive surgeries to her eyes. We formally adopted her soon after her rescue. She is now 7years old and recently had a mast cell tumor removed. She is back to her sassy self and doing well.
Boba was found with the rest of his litter being sold From the back of a car. He was born physically disabled and recommended to be euthanized by a veterinarian at 8weeks old. He is now 7 years old and thriving with the proper medical care!

What is the best trick your pet has taught you?
Bruce has taught us that he enjoys sweeping through your legs for a back scratch. If you’re not very tall, you’re going for a ride!
Rey has taught us that she can tell time. She expects her meals at exactly the same moment every day.
Boba has taught us that head butting himself into your legs/abdomen is an affectionate gesture. He only does it to those he loves.

What is the strangest thing about your pet
Bruce talks. It sounds like a deep growl but then changes pitch and tone. He will go on and on if something makes him happy.
Rey does this thing we call house swimming. She lays on her side and almost runs in place. Flipping and flopping around. No, it’s not seizure activity. Just something she does when bored since she was a pup.
Boba does not like taking pictures and will close his eyes when a camera is pointed at him. It’s rare that we can get one with his eyes open.

Does your pet have a favorite toy or activity?
Bruce enjoys shredding stuffies. Also the handled jolly ball.
Rey enjoys taking Bruce’s favorite things and playing keep away.
Boba’s favorite thing is his mom. Also shredding cardboard.
