How we met
Ruthie was found alone on the side of the road as a young puppy and she became part of our family of 14 cats, one bearded dragon and two humans on May 22, 2021 at six weeks old.

What is the best trick your pet has taught you?
Ruthie has taught us several tricks, but probably the best one is running an obstacle course when she breaks free and decides it's time to check out the neighborhood. She is very good at sudden stops, then dashing off at full speed, and veering from one side to the other.

What is the strangest thing about your pet
Is how a Chiweenie puppy with such short legs can run so fast!

Does your pet have a favorite toy or activity?
Ruthie loves any toy that squeaks. She loves for you to throw it so she can bring it back to you. When she is ready to play, she will get a squeaky toy, and then hold onto your leg as you are trying to walk. That's her signal it's time to play, and she is very persistent. She is like the Energizer bunny that never runs down.
