How we met
After months of begging, my parents finally said yes to a cat. We got up bright and early and made our way to Hickory Humane. In my third kitty condo, I sat down, only for this sweet little calico to come sit on my lap, look me in the face, and exclaim, “meow”. 10 minutes later the paperwork was done. Best $30 I’ve ever spent in my life.

What is the best trick your pet has taught you?
How to laugh at even some of life’s most frustrating things, because no matter what trouble she may get into, she always manages to make me smile.

What is the strangest thing about your pet
When she gets zoomies, she’ll latch onto the nearest vertical surface and just hang there, like something straight out of a horror movie. Her eyes get the size of bowling balls and her tail puffs up like a Swiffer duster.

Does your pet have a favorite toy or activity?
She is obsessed with plastic bendy straws. Save the oceans, please a cat.
