Why is your dog a hero?
In 2017 I had to put my dog down. I never wanted to have another pet. I wanted to get a fish so if he died I would just flush it and it might not be as painful for me. One day I was bored so I went to the shelter just to look. Yeah right ! ! I saw Sonny and he had that look that stole my heart. He is my doorbell and alarm clock. He barks at every noise but he is just doing his job. He alerts me of danger even if it is only the mail carrier or even squirrels digging in my potted plants. His presence brings me and anyone that knows him joy and happiness 😊
