Why is your dog a hero?
Hondo is a mix of Corgi and Heeler and we adopted him when he was 4 months old and found on the streets of San Bernadino. Hondo is now a little over a year old is energetic and protective. He will come running to you at just a sneeze. My boyfriend, Ryan, is a truck driver and works till 3 am sometimes and Hondo keeps myself and my mom company and safe every night. Ryan was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and is currently in treatment. Hondo became the man of the house while Ryan was in the hospital and after having a hard time adjusting to the fact that his father could not play with him everyday, Hondo is settling into his breed and becoming a true Healer.
