Why is your dog a hero?
My dog is a hero because she came into our lives during the pandemic and helped my middle school aged daughter find happiness during a dismal time. Two years later, Hazel ended up with two bulged discs which left her hind legs immobile. She endured surgery and rehab and fought her way back in regaining the use of her hind legs. Although she walks with a special harness, Hazel is a happy, loving pup, living her best life!
