Why is your dog a hero?
Amanita is an 8 month old German Short Hair Pointer and Bull Terrier. She started her journey as a new puppy helping teens in rehab cope with long stretches away from their families. She just graduated an 8 week obedience course and is about to start an advance obedience course and rattlesnake aversion training. Amanita and her human are summiting 6 mountains in SoCal for the 6 Pack of Peaks Challenge in 2022. They just finished Sitton Peak. She lives at home with four children and 5 cats.

She loves when her firefighter human comes home from work and goes hiking. It keeps him in shape and ready for brush firefighting in the Hollywood Hills.
