All About HBR

Houston Boxer Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, operated entirely by volunteers and utilizing complete foster care, without a kennel facility. HBR is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, ensuring the health of, and finding homes for boxers that have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or given up, within and beyond the Houston Metroplex.

None of the officers or volunteers at Houston Boxer Rescue receive compensation for their work. Rescue is an act of the heart, a true labor of love. Our dedication lies in transforming the lives of the boxers that enter our program.

Our aim for the dogs we save is to secure a loving and permanent future in a home that has been thoroughly evaluated by a seasoned volunteer. We endeavor to align the specific needs and personality of each animal with the living situation of a pre-approved adopter.
