We adopted Bella from a friend that could no longer take care of her. She was our first Boxer. We felt Bella needed a companion. That is when we discovered Houston Boxer Rescue. Trying to find a companion was not easy. Bella is picky. We met several dogs and the meetings did not go well. HBR asked if we could foster Bruno. He was very sick and malnourished. We brought him home and it was an instant attraction between Bella and Bruno. Bella was very gentle with Bruno and helped nurse him back to good health. Now they are inseparable. Bruno is 100 percent better and is the most loving boxer ever. They are very protective of each other and our family. Thank you HBR for bringing us together.
