Bella was a rescue. Had heartworm & a broken hip joint. Had a FHO performed. After excellent post op care by Ms. C Miller, I adopted her. Changed her name from Arlene to Bella. She walks & runs now like nothing happened. It took a while to get rid of heartworm, but she is healthy & happy. Is at a perfect weight now. Her character has blossomed also. She talks & back talks me to the point of being downright pushy. She picks on her "little brother" but he loves it.
But I wouldn't change a thing. I love her. She is my protector, my love & my big baby.
