Our house was the happiest of places . You see, we had our 2 - 9 yr old Boxers, Frazier and his sister,Alie. Alie started showing signs of concern for us. Within 30 days, cancer took her. Frazier fell into deep depression. His sister was his best friend and defender of the squeaky toys. I thought of adoption, but how would Frazier feel about that. I reached out to every Boxer Rescue in Texas, filed all the paperwork and then waited. A call came that a 14 month old female was just surrendered. I couldn’t get in the car fast enough. I fell in love with her immediately, but the test was Frazier, who was waiting for my return. After their initial meet and greet, the two cozied up together on the sofa, just as if she had always been a part of our family. I named her RUBY. She brought life and energy back to my once depressed dog. Our house is once again a home of surprises and laughter, thanks to RUBY… Our jewel !
