Hey guys, it’s me, Olson! I’m a year and a half old and super sweet. I’ve had a pretty rough start to my life, but I’m brave and resilient! This is my story:

About six months ago, I was dropped off at an animal shelter with a lot of injuries. I was rescued, thank goodness, by Houston Boxer Rescue and it was decided by the vet that my leg needed to be amputated. Oh, boy, that was a bit challenging, but I did it!

Next, I was in a great foster home getting healed with Kathy and Lee but I had to go back to the vet with some complications. It was about that time that my mom and dad saw my face and fell madly head over heels in love without even meeting me. They tell me they knew the minute they saw me that I was the boy for them, and so I was adopted. Who could resist this face?

Later I had to go in for a second big surgery with a specialist, kind of like a redo, but I took it like a champ and now I am finally healed and feeling so much better. I’m ready to take on the world.

Oh yeah, and I have a pack of my own. My new home also came with two boxer girls yippie! They love me too and how great is that?
