Adoption Story/Horse Bio
Blitzen came to Central Virginia Horse Rescue, where my husband and I are volunteers, in December of 2021. She was part of an animal control seizure and bears scars of past neglect. This pretty lady took some time to warm up to humans but is now a part of a youth trainer program and will be available for adoption soon! Blitzen has MCOA or Multiple Congenital Ocular Albinism and must wear a special UV mask during the day. I captured this photo of her while she was enjoying a run through her field with her other rescue friends!
