We picked out Daphne from Hope Animal Rescue in 2014. She is a Jack Russell and Beagle mix. She barks like the former and howls like the latter. She has learned to love boating, but will leap to the sandy shore of Jordan Lake to explore the woods. She keeps our home safe from squirrels and deer, and never gets tired of running. She brings a lot of joy to our lives, and we feel lucky to have found her.
