A day in my life...
My typical day consists of trying to get out to survey my secured kingdom of a backyard as early as possible, tripping my humane on the way if need be. However, the insufferable humane only allows me out if it’s daylight. So, I must find some other activity such as napping on the bed or other comfy spot. (Truth be told, if it’s too cold, too snowy, too rainy, too windy, ect I only survey from the deck for five min. then head back in.) At some point during the day, one of my two female feline companions will plop themselves down next to me to have me assist in their grooming needs. It’s fun until it erupts into an argument because they claim I become too aggressive. What’s a few love bites among friends? I do like to snack periodically throughout the day and will lay on the kitchen table to show my concern if the bowl even comes close to being empty. Most days I do assist the humane with computer work. It does become frustrating as I keep getting blocked in my effort to show how much more efficient it is pushing many keys at once vs one at a time. Despite the human’s many flaws, I am very much catered to and especially love how handicap accessible the furniture, windows, perches and beds are due to my three-legged situation. Don’t tell the humane, but if need be and I’m scared enough, I can leap over a dog gate. Overall, being taken to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter for adoption was one of the best things that happened to me. The first was being adopted and being able to live my BEST life.
