Adoption Story
Lina was adopted 7/21/23. Her human dad worked for Keebler years ago, so knew she was the one. After we applied we were told she needed to see the vet for her birth defect of missing her paw and was only on the website for 20 minutes and HAL wanted to make sure we knew they were in PA. Told them yes we knew (we live in TN) and willing to wait for her. Once we knew we’re becoming her pawrents we needed a name. Decided on Lina as she was “leanin’ to the left.” We drove 12 hours each way to get her from her foster moms Jill and Kelly, and while watching a movie in the hotel, the main character was Lena. So many things aligned it was meant to be! Our home has 10 paws=3 rescue dogs, 2 tails, and 1 happy pack. Adopt. Don’t shop!
