Adoption Story
I was working from home during covid and planning to retire and wanted to start looking for a dog now that I'd be able to spend more time at home and with him. I saw Maxi's photo on Petfinder and fell in love. Since it was during covid I met Maxi and his foster mom in the parking lot of a Petco and his first reaction to me was to bark and nip, but I saw a scared little boy who needed love and a home. He took a while to settle in and the first 3 days were tough as he was not happy about living with a cat sibling. But I woke up on day 4 and saw them cuddling! He is my sweetheart and constant companion. I love him to pieces.
