Adoption Story
After losing my first pup to a freak surgical incident, and my second to an ex-partner, I didn't think I had it in me to be a dog dad. Until a co-worker sent me the Home at Last post for BB (then named Chuu).

I went to the meet and greet and saw her and immediately my heart melted. I wanted to bring her home with me that day, but it was between me and another candidate. After wringing my hands all night, I was told I was chosen to take care of her!

One week later, the world shut down for the Covid-19 Pandemic. I can not put into words how much her companionship meant to me in that time, and how much it means to me now. She is my best friend, and I owe it to HAL Dog Rescue!
