Adoption Story
I adopted Darcy in January 2015, when I was barely 24, living alone in a new city. I had no idea how much I could love Darcy and how she would become the greatest friend I will ever have. I’ll never forget her HAL foster, Jaime who was the greatest support and angel to Darcy. Now over eight years later, this sweet girl has lived all over the country with me, but has finally settled into our first home in upstate ny! I’ll be forever grateful to HAL for saving my best friend and giving me the gift of sharing life with her🥰
