Rules

Must be a legal US resident, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
A $5 entry fee must accompany each photo.
Cats & Dogs only, please
No limit to the number of animals in each photo.
No people, business or licensed logos can be visible in the photo.
Photo may not show, contain, mention, depict, refer or otherwise allude to the name, mark, logo, product or service of any retailer, manufacturer, brand, product, store, place of business, person, company or character in such a way or manner as to imply an affiliation with, or endorsement of.
No limit to the number of entries.
Submit entries, photos and payment online.
Submitters must be the owner of all rights, including copyright of all photos.
No studio photos please.
HAL reserves the right to reject any submission, and/or remove any content.
Entrant’s photos will be displayed on the HAL website, at the shelter, and at various public venues/social media outlets during the voting period.
Except where prohibited or restricted by law, a winner’s acceptance of calendar placement constitutes the winner’s agreement and consent for all releases and use and/or publish winner’s pet’s name, city and state of residence, photographs or other likenesses (including but not limited to the Photo submitted.
Each vote cost $1 and there is no limit to the number of votes cast.
Votes may be cast online.
Winners will be determined by the number of votes cast.
Top 12 pictures submitted with the most votes will be included in the 2015 calendar.
Voting will begin on Oct 22^nd, 2014 12:01 am, and end at 11:59 pm PST Nov 30^th, 2014.
Winners will be confirmed no later than Dec 5^th, 2014.
