A little about me...
Max is one of six foster fails we’ve had over the years. We fostered him in 2015. He was from a litter of three abandoned kittens from the local college area. That summer, we fostered and found homes for 40 abandoned kittens with the help of rescue friends. Max was in poor health. He had a severe upper respiratory infection and wouldn’t eat or drink; he had given up on life. At the vet’s the next day, he received antibiotics and subcutaneous fluids; they kept him overnight. We took him home the next day to nurse him back to health. He stayed in a small covered cage with a vaporizer going 24-hours a day to help his breathing. After a time, he started to show improvement. He grew stronger and his personality began to shine. He became the most lovable and friendly little guy and still is today at 8 years old. He’s one of those very special kitties that will always have a piece of our hearts.
