A little about me...
Anika came into my life through a Facebook post. Her "owners" moved and left her behind - scared and possibly pregnant. I knew she and her kittens would not have a good outcome if someone didn't act. I picked her up that day, wondering what in the world I was going to do with a litter of kittens.
As it turned out she was not pregnant but full of worms. With vet care, medication, neutering, good food, and tons of love, Anika blossomed into the beautiful cat you see in the picture. She is an outgoing, bossy, loving kitty who deserves the best. She is the face of an abandoned cat, left to fend for herself without shelter, food, or love. This is the face of so many cats that are roaming our streets - cats who are hungry, sick, injured, and scared because somebody tossed them out like trash These cats deserve so much better. Look into Anika's beautiful eyes and know that if no one reached out to that Facebook post her life would have turned out totally different. Everyone has the ability to make a difference by adopting, volunteering, donating.. MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
