My Quirks...
Gigi was rescued from a puppy mill bust in Savannah. She is a very loving dog, but because of her early life, she has some quirks. She was always left outside, so she is very afraid of thunderstorms and firecrackers. As a puppy, she loved to collect socks and hand towels. She would squirrel them away. Thank goodness she has gotten over that. Her best friend is a black tuxedo cat, also a rescue. At first, this cat, Rudy, hated all dogs, but now the two are buddies and even sleep together.

A little about me...
I obtained Gigi through an animal rescue organization in Savannah. I had applied for & was approved for a 7-week-old black labrador puppy. However, the only dog an older non-verbal gentleman showed an interest in was the puppy designated for me. At the same time, I noted that no one showed any interest in Gigi as she was a bit older. Gigi was 5 months old and the other puppies were about 6-10 weeks. I entered into an agreement with this older man that if he took good care of the lab puppy, I would take Gigi home and he could have the lab pup. His face lit up and all ended well.
