My Quirks...
-Bringing dead birds or squirrels in a very excited way while waging her tail.
-She would roll over the most disgusting odors while walking her.
-Licking dishes after each meal while we are charging the dishwasher.
-When much younger she would play with horses and cows while strolling around the countryside.
-She will go crazy making laps over and over again when snowing or when a beloved friend arrived at home.
-She would jump onto my mat while I was doing exercise.
-She used to understand commands in English, French and Spanish.

A little about me...
Our beloved and sweet Chanel, currently 15th. years old is an adopted South Carolinian- Mixed-Labrador who came to our home at 5 months old, after her mom was hit by a car, leaving a 2 months old litter of 6, she was the only female.
After living in Beaufort for a short time we moved to France where we lived for 8 years and where she was so much loved by family and friends.
In spite of her skittish nature, she dared to travelling by cars, boats, carriages, trains and planes as well as to learn commands in French and to love cheeses; she was also well mannered to stay at restaurants or hotels where still asked us about her.
This photo is a special one since was taken after coming back to Lady's Island in 2017th. It shows her timid and soft approach to new experiences such as Halloween.
She has filled our lives as a gentle fresh breeze.
We certainly take her to Sea Island Animal Hospital since we adopted her, over there she is spoiled and treated with love and accuracy.
