What my person says about me
I'm Karina and asked mom to put me in the contest to honor black cats everywhere, especially those like me, lucky enough to be rescued by HSC from a kill shelter as a tiny kitten. Because I'm black and had a cold, I know my chances of making it out alive were slim to none.
I'm also owe my adoption in part to Lizzy, whose passing left a huge hole in mom's heart which I have hopefully helped to fill. I'm a happy girl, love absolutely every human I meet as well as my two cat brothers, Ernie and Frankie, and doggy sister, Noelle. Life is good!
