What my person says about me
I wanted to share one of the last happy photos of Zoey, before the brain tumor took her sight completely, enjoying the sun on her face on a warm Colorado September day. She had battled a nasal tumor since Nov 2016, but it came roaring back in the summer of 2020 and brought friends. I will not think of her as having lost that battle. She lived every day with courage and grace, and in that she claimed victory.
