Marie was found wandering the alleys of Belmont Shore, declawed and desperately ill with kidney failure and an infection. At ACS, Jill fell in love with her and asked for a hospice. I asked CatPAWS, who said, fine, go ahead. With the assistance of Deborah, Maureen and Diane, I learned fluid administration and feeding. She’s now playful and happy. She was supposed to have lived only a couple of weeks—and that was nearly a year ago!
