Losing a beloved pet can be a heartbreaking experience for any family. The void left behind by their absence can be difficult to fill, even with the presence of other family members. The loss of our lab mix in 2022 left our home feeling empty despite the presence of our two kids. However, the arrival of "Maggie Mae" in August 2023 brought a new ray of light into our lives. Falling in love with her puppy eyes and deciding to adopt her from HOTLR was a wonderful decision that has undoubtedly brought joy and companionship back into our home.

Now, as Maggie approaches her second birthday in April, it's heartwarming to see how she has become an integral part of our family. From enjoying watching Lucky Dog to playing at the dog park and snuggling, Maggie Mae has found her place in our hearts.
