Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Ollie from the Guadalupe County Animal Control facility one year ago today.

I first saw his pictures and videos on Facebook, posted by an amazing volunteer. He was such a happy puppy, almost full grown, a big boy. He was on a walk and just bounding along in that enthusiastic puppy bounce.

His post was a desperate last call. "Number 25" was scheduled for "disposal" after they closed to the public that evening.

It was 4pm.

I called the shelter, the volunteers, animal control, everyone I could find to tell them I was on my way and to Please wait for me.

I got there with 15 minutes to spare.

Ollie's picture was taken as soon as we got home. You can't see it here but his tail does a full curl then has an extra little twist right at the tip.
