What is your dream and why do you want to be on the cover?
I want my teenage daughter and other children to appreciate beauty and talent in all forms, all appearances, all types - not just in stereotypes or traditions. I represent this open-hearted perspective as a multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-talented woman who gave birth at 42. I am currently working on my PhD dissertation to educate communities and society at large about transitional
experiences of women veterans to help all women’s voices be heard.
I do this through my volunteer time with nonprofits and efforts including Homefront & Veteran Voices, American Legion, Gonzaga University Alumni Association, Potomac Boat Club, The Grey Team, Disabled American Veterans, Florida Department of Veteran Affairs, Military Officers American Association, United States Rowing Association, Intl Association of Business Communicators, FAU Student Achievement Council, Service Women Action Network, and others.
