A little about me...
My name is Byron and I am a HEA alumni. I was brought from Georgia and had parvovirus as a puppy. But HEA’s founder, Amanda, and all of their staff didn’t give up on me. They kept fighting and gave me the courage to keep going. After they got me back up on all fours, I was ready to be adopted. That’s when I met my mom, Sam. We had lots of play dates and walks but things are a little different now. I haven’t walked in over two years but my mom and dad, Dillon, do everything possible for me. I even have three different wagons for different situations. One for behind their bike, one for regular walks, and one for rugged terrain so I can go see my brothers and sisters, which are horses. I love seeing them and my parents take me everywhere. They even take me on a nightly ride in the four wheeler just so I can see the deer and scare them away! But my favorite part of every day is after supper, they always let me cuddle with them on the couch and I fall asleep in their lap. As you can see here, it’s my favorite spot!

I am dreaming about...
As much as I love my parents carrying me everywhere and pushing me in my stroller or cart, I would love to run again on all four legs! But for now, I will enjoy them carting me around and going everywhere with them! Ooo and don’t forget going for lots of rides and swimming, but please make sure it’s a warm pool!
