A little about me...
Winston is a very handsome English Setter rescue we pulled from an over-crowded shelter in Eastern Tennessee. He was found as a stray and was skin and bones. Sadly, he tested positive for heartworms, Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever and x-rays showed some inflammation in his lungs. He also came to us with some bird shot under his skin. Heartworm slow- kill is ideal for a dog struggling with so many challenging health problems as we take our time with his care. Surprisingly, he must have been trained by someone as he has a great nose for birds and is stunning on point. While he has a long road to recovery, we are hopeful that he will be free of heartworms in the coming months and that we can find him a loving forever home in the future. VOTE FOR WINSTON!!!
