A little about me...
Dharma (pointer mix) and Bowie (beagle mix) are both dogs we adopted from Illinois Birddog Rescue in 2020. In 2019, Dharma came in from Tennessee a very sick puppy with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and having just gotten over Parvo. With Lisa's extensive knowledge of tick born disease and the support of Dr John she was nursed back to health. In 2020, Bowie was found running loose in southern Illinois and he became our 1st foster failed dog because we couldn't let him go once we saw how well he and Dharma got along. We are so blessed to have been able to open our hearts and our home to these two amazing dogs and are so grateful for all that Lisa and the IBR community do to save the lives of these precious fur babies!
