A little about me...
Gladys is a senior beagle that was saved from an over crowded shelter in northwest Indiana. She was found as a stray after her owners dumped her outside because they were getting a divorce. Apparently the people in the neighborhood were feeding her and her companion until they were picked up by animal control. Gladys came into our program with 2 horrifically infected ears and her paws were also inflamed. Her health neglect also included some terrible dental decay. Blood work also shows she is fighting Rocky Mountain spotted fever. How this little dog has suffered, but in spite of that she has the sweetest temperament and we hope we can find her the bestest adoptive home once she is feeling a lot better. Gladys means "Princess" in Welsh and we are giving her the royal treatment and care she deserves.
